Landscaping of the campus

In landscape component University has full time Gardeners, who maintain the Flower beds & Plantation done by Dignitaries on various occasions. To reduce hard labor University has provided Electric lawn-mower (Grass Cutter) to cut grasses in the campus.

Natural forest area is being maintained in University Campus with the help of Gardner’s time to time.

Ornamental Plants mainly -Amaltas, Ashok, Gulmohar, Jamun , Royal Palm , Juniferous etc. are planted in University campus during various occasions by dignities’,staff & students.

Croton, Rubber Plant, Palm Species, Drocina & seasonal flowers are planted in earthen pots, plastic pots and placed in various places in inside & outside of University Campus building.

Re-cycling of agro-waste into compost

Grass, Leaves, Small Tree Branches, waste floriculture material etc. are filled in Compost pits which turns into compost after 4-5 months. This compost is being used in flower beds and plantation of ornamental & forestry plants.

Created rainwater harvesting trenches

During rainy season we make temporary rainwater harvesting trenches to divert the rainwater in rainwater harvesting tank. Besides that & PVC pipes are also buried under ground so that the rooftop rain water is also being diverted to structure.  The rain water percolates in the ground and ground water become recharge.
