Incomplete and Late Applications

Incomplete application forms/ registration forms, received after the due date or having wrong options of courses or electives or false information, will be summarily rejected. Therefore, the candidates are advised to fill the relevant columns carefully and enclose the copies of all the required certificates duly attested by a gazetted officer.

Validity of Admission

Candidates offered admission have to join on or before the due dates specified by the University. In case they want to seek admission for the next session, they have to apply afresh and go through the admission process again.

Admission Forms

Candidates are advised to submit the admission forms at the Programme/Study Centre/Headquarters either by post or in person.

Reservation

The University provides reservation of seats as per the rules of the State Government of Uttarakhand.

Study Material

The University shall send the study material to the Regional Centres and the Regional Centres shall hand over the material to the Study Centres under there jurisdiction and the same shall be made available by the Study centres to the students.

Refund of Fees

Fee once paid is not refundable.

Non-payment

Non-payment of fees will result in the non-dispatch of study material. Such students will not be permitted to write their examination.

Change of Medium

If any student wants to change the medium of study, then he/she can submit all the study material to the University within 45 days of receipt and have to deposit an amount of Rs.300/- per subject contains 100 marks and Rs.150/- per subject for 50 marks each. The concerned amount should be paid only by the demand draft drawn in favour of “Uttarakhand Open University” payable at ‘Haldwani’.

Change of Subjects

If any student wants to change their subject then he/she can submit all the study material to the University within 45 days of receipt and have to deposit an amount of Rs.300/- per subject contains 100 marks and Rs.150/- per subject for 50 marks each. Disputes on Admission and Other University Matters

The place of jurisdiction of filing the suit, if necessary, will be only in the Hon’ble High Court, Nainital, Uttarakhand.
