Ranikhet Regional Centre:

The Ranikhet Regional Centre of Uttarakhand Open University, Haldwani plays an important role in the expansion of distance education in the Kumaon region. This Regional Centre acts as a bridge between the University and the study centres in the region and is continuously working towards making higher education accessible in mountainous and remote areas. Under the Ranikhet Regional Centre, 19 study centres are functioning in Almora and Bageshwar districts, out of which 14 are located in Almora district and 05 in Bageshwar district. Through these study centres, undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programmes are being successfully conducted.
