School of Education

The School of Education offers Program in Education, Teacher Education, Special Education & Ph.D. in Education. The aim of school is to achieve excellence in all its academic endeavors. The school functions on Philosophy of Open and Distance learning. Objective of School is to facilitate skilled and value-based quality education for learners.

Department of Teacher Education offers B.Ed. (ODL) which is recognized by NCTE, UGC, DEB. 500 seats are allocated in this program. Learner intake is through entrance examination yearly. Learners with graduation along with certificate or diploma or degree in teacher education from face-to-face mode are eligible for appearing in entrance examination. This is preferred program of teacher education for in service teachers working at elementary level nationwide.

Department of Special Education offers B.Ed.(special), program recognized by RCI, UGC, DEB. To prepare preservice teachers to deal with children with special needs to support inclusive education.

School of Education offers Ph.D. in Education. Ph.D. in Education is one of preferred program in learners. Many research scholars successfully completed this program and awarded Ph.D. Degree in Education.
