Dr. Neha Tiwari is working as an Assistant Professor (AC) in the Department of Forestry & Environmental Science, School of Earth & Environmental Science at Uttarakhand Open University, Haldwani. She has completed her M.Sc. in Environmental Science with specialization in vermicomposting and Ph.D. in Environmental Science from the Department of Environmental Science, Gurukula Kangri (Deemed to be University), Haridwar. She has qualified ASRB NET in Environmental Science in 2018. Dr. Tiwari has published 04 research papers and 02 book chapters in reputed International and National journals. She has an expertise in vermicomposting, carbon sequestration, earthworms and soil microbiology. Dr. Tiwari has attended several International/National conferences/workshops and presented her research work. Dr. Tiwari has software skills in SPSS, Origin Pro, Minitab, Past and Microsoft Office. Awards: M.Sc. Gold Medalist in Environmental Science (2017) Won 2nd prize in essay competition on Wetlands of Himalaya organized by Department of Environmental Science, Gurukula Kangri (Deemed to be University), Haridwar on 2 February, 2022. Won 2nd prize in poster competition on Environment Day organized by Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board on 5 June, 2022.
