Dr. Vivek Mamgain currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Academic Consultant) in the Department of Sanskrit, School of Humanities, at Uttarakhand Open University, Haldwani, since July 2025. He holds a Master’s degree in Sanskrit from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University and was awarded his Ph.D. in Sanskrit by Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal Central University in 2024.

With a strong academic foundation and research orientation, Dr. Mamgain has published six research papers in reputed national and international journals. He has actively participated in several national and international conferences and workshops, where he has presented his research work, contributing meaningfully to the advancement of Sanskrit studies.Alongside his academic career, Dr. Mamgain has actively contributed to media and public outreach. He has collaborated with Prasar Bharati and Doordarshan in the development of educational and cultural documentaries, serving not only as a contributor but also as an anchor—bringing Sanskrit scholarship to a wider audience through broadcast media.
