Prakash Chandra Arya is working as an Assistant Professor(AC) of Music Department at Uttarakhand Open University, Haldwani. He is learning Tabla from Dr. Vijay Krishna ji and Won the first prize in Indian Classical Music (Tabla) competition organized by Sangeet Natak Academy Lucknow on the year 2015. He also Got first prize in state level youth festival 2016 organized by Yuva Kalyan and Prantiya Raksha dal Dehradun Uttarakhand. He had done Sangeet Prabhakar with first division in the instrumental (Tabla) from Prayag Sangeet samiti Allahabad on 2009.

- Awarded gold medal by Hon’ble governor of Uttarakhand Dr. K.K Paul at the fifteenth Convocation held form 2016 at D.S.B Campus Nainital.
- Awarded UGC NET JRF fellowship by ugc grant commission.
