Dr. Deep Prakash is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of
Chemistry at Uttarakhand Open University, Haldwani. He was awarded a Ph.D. in Inorganic
Chemistry from Kumaun University, Nainital, in 2025. He completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in
Chemistry from S.S.J. Campus, Almora (Kumaun University), and developed a strong
foundation in chemical sciences during his academic journey.
He has qualified several prestigious national-level examinations, including CSIR-UGC JRF
(2018), NET (2018), GATE (2019), and U-SET (2017). Dr. Prakash has published many
research papers in reputed international journals, contributing significantly to the field of
inorganic and organometallic chemistry.
His key area of research is Catalytic Hydroformylation, and he continues to explore
advanced methodologies and applications in catalysis.
In addition to his academic responsibilities, Dr. Prakash also serves as the Assistant In-
Charge (Admission) at Uttarakhand Open University. Before joining UOU, he worked as a
Guest Faculty at S.S.J. Campus, Almora, for one year.
