Ms. Harshita Mehta is currently employed as an Assistant Professor (AC) in the School of Journalism and Media Studies at Uttarakhand Open University, Haldwani, Uttarakhand, since April 2026. Her ongoing research examines the interplay of digitality and development. Passionate about literature, critical media theory and new media practices, she aims to meaningfully contribute to the field of Media Studies by advancing knowledge and fostering critical engagement with contemporary media phenomena
