All the applicants for the Ph.D Entrance Examination are hereby informed that due to Uttarakhand Municipal/Local Body Elections, the Ph.D Entrance Examination has been rescheduled to 2nd December, 2018.
The examination shall be conducted on the following pattern;
- Part-A shall consist of 75 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks. The questions which will be of general nature, intended to assess the research aptitude of the candidate.
- Part-B shall consist of 75 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks which shall be subject-specific.
The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Part A and B on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet. There shall be no negative marks for incorrect answers.
Both the parts will consist of only objective type questions to be attempted in one session of three hours.
Further, applicants are instructed to bring black or blue ball-point pen for filling the OMR sheet.
Accordingly, applicants are advised to download their admit cards from the website of the University from 27/11/2018. Details of the test centre and timings shall be mentioned in the admit cards itself.
