Regional Services Directorate (RSD) is located in University’s Headquarters, Haldwani. Directorate, formulates and regulates, policies for effective governance of Regional Centers and Learner Support Centers.

RSD of the University is the section which is responsible for providing adequate services to its beneficiaries through the network of Regional Centers (RC) and Learner Support Centers (LSC’s), as intermediate and ultimate resort respectively, in timely manner. Apart from this RSD is also responsible for dealing with the RC’s and LSC’s and their functioning.

Coordination between the different LSCs and the University is ensured by Regional Centers, which are located in different regions of Uttarakhand.

At present, the University has eight (08) Regional Centers, out of which five (05) are located in the Garhwal region, vis-à-vis, Dehradun, Roorkee, Pauri, Uttarkashi, Karnaprayag and three (03) in the Kumaun region, vis-à-vis, Ranikhet, Haldwani, Pithoragarh.

Under each RC there are different numbers of LSC’s providing access to higher education in the State and extending its reach to the unreached, marginalized and excluded people residing in distant places and difficult terrains of Uttarakhand.
